haute couture fall 2008.

The couture week arrived, or well.. it's done by now. Lots of shows, amazing clothes and crazy parties! So I'm a little late, but let's blog about this! Oh, and, as you prob wil read below, I almost died after seeing Dior!












Armani Prive
Not the best show this week, but looking at the designers, the cuts, the models, the wearable and very sophisticated looks, it's my fav on the i-would-wear-and-use-this-for-styling show. Amazing are the bowties and the nudeblouses/shirts under the jackets. The lines arn't new, but with these colours and fabrics, pretty strong. Well done!






Chanel
Eventhough we all know that Karl is King, he seems to come up with a lot of looks I really don't understand. But then aswell with some I abs. love and find really insp. Oh, and I've seen his docu, which sucked. The extra's were mucho better. Oh well, back to this collection. I don't get the styling and wigs. It could've been much much stronger! x










Christian Dior
Okay, the best show this week! The best makeup, the best accessories, fierce models, nice shapes, just omfg! I'm in love with the last dress, I'd wear it, anytime anyday haha. And the first look, that belt. In love, deeply, insane! Redcarpet and insane hot exclusive parties, note in my notebook! x







Christian Lacroix
Strongest in black, and loving that he will never loose his bling! x










Valentino
Alessandra Facchinetti on board as the new leading designer and oh my fucking godd, she's doing one fierce job! How hysteric this may sound, look at the designs and the clothes.. is this Valentino? It is, but steps steps higher, she really took the brand a little higher already. Can't wait for the next show!
